Donations from Escapees members paid for this tax-exempt Center. Not having loans helps keep the cost of CARE far below any other adult day care program. Your donations are tax-deductible.

Some folks find it is easier to give a small monthly donation that is automatically deducted from their bank account or automaticaly charged to their Visa or MasterCard. Nobody misses a monthly $5 or $10 and it does help CARE.

If you give $100 or more, you will receive a CARE jewelry pin to wear, and if you give $1,000 or more, you will recieve a gold donor pin and have your name engraved on the plaque mounted at the CARE Center.

Donations may be in the form of pledges and can be made in easy payments over any time period you select. Automatic monthly donations and credit card donations can also be arranged. When your accumulated donation totals $100 or $1,000, you will receive the above recognition. Please donate whatever you can.

Send Hand-Crafted Donations
CARE welcomes donations of hand-crafted items for a gift shop operated by the participants. If you are a crafter, please consider donating. Funds raised at the gift shop help to pay for participant activities.

Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers are especially needed during spring and summer months, but are welcome any time.Volunteers are needed for the following:

• Kitchen cleanup
• Cooking evenings and weekends
  
• Maintenance chores
• Driving participants to appointments
• On call "responders" for evenings and weekends*
• Carpenters to help build ramps and storage sheds
• Volunteer nurses are always needed**

*Responder volunteers are eligible for a free site at CARE, space permitting

**A Texas affiliated license is preferred but not essential. Affiliated licenses are with the states of Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.

RVScrapbook.com hosts online fundraiser for CARE to help elderly RVers…

Happy Camper Club’s RVScrapbook.com web site, a free, social network for the RV community, is working to raise awareness of the Escapees CARE cause, and members of the site have gotten off to an enthusiastic start with a community fundraiser at the site.  All RVers are welcome to participate, and the only requirement is a few minutes of your time, and your favorite RV recipes.  All funds will be donated to Escapees CARE in early January, delivered “in person” by one of Happy Camper Club’s logo mascots.  Read more…
